Jason Benaim is a Critical Care Paramedic with over twenty years of frontline experience at Toronto Paramedic Services.
He has provided advanced care to thousands of critically ill and injured patients across Ontario and has been a leading contributor to paramedic education and clinical program development.
Jason co-developed Toronto’s Primary Care Paramedic Program, recognized by the Ministry of Health, and
has served as faculty at the Sunnybrook-Osler Centre for Prehospital Care, where he taught and developed continuing medical education programs for paramedics from a variety of regions in Ontario,
Throughout his career, Jason has earned multiple awards, including the Long Service Medal and top placements in both national and international paramedic competitions. His deep clinical background and first-hand understanding of neurological emergencies inspired the creation of LIOR, a device designed to bring objective, accurate pupil assessment to every level of care.
As Founder and CEO, Jason leads LIOR’s clinical direction, product development, and partnerships, ensuring the technology
remains rooted in real-world medical needs.
Chris DelGiudice
Chief Technical Officer: LIOR Pupillometry Inc.
Chris Del Giudice is a senior enterprise architect with more than twenty years of experience designing and delivering complex technology systems in healthcare, telecom, retail, and insurance. He has led large-scale modernization projects at Rogers Communications and Definity, replacing legacy systems with secure, cloud-based platforms.
Earlier in his career, Chris worked on medical software deployments, integrating hospital data systems and gaining a strong understanding of clinical workflows. His work has been recognized internally and externally with multiple awards for leadership and delivery excellence.
At LIOR, Chris oversees system architecture and prototype development. He ensures the device’s firmware, hardware, and data systems work together reliably and are ready for integration into clinical environments.
His focus on precision, reliability, and scalability helps position LIOR as a practical, future-ready medical device company.

Dr. Stephanie Rotolo
Emergency Physician, Ontario
Dr. Stephanie Rotolo brings a unique dual perspective to LIOR as both a former paramedic and a practicing emergency physician. Based in suburban Ontario, she combines hands-on experience in prehospital care with years of frontline emergency medicine.
Her insight into patient assessment, workflow efficiency, and the realities of emergency departments helps ensure LIOR meets the clinical needs of both hospital and field providers.
Michael Roffey
Paramedic Coordinator, Sunnybrook Hospital
Michael Roffey has more than a decade of paramedic experience and now serves as a key educator and coordinator at the Sunnybrook-Osler Centre for Prehospital Care.
He oversees continuing medical education for hundreds of paramedics, helping shape standards of care across the region. His deep background in paramedic practice and education ensures that LIOR remains both clinically relevant and practical for daily use in the field.
Dr. Ilana Greenwald

Dr. Ilana Greenwald has over fifteen years of experience working in one of the busiest and resource-limited
emergency departments in the Greater Toronto Area.
Her background in acute care and clinical decision-making under challenging conditions brings an essential real-world perspective to LIOR’s design and validation.
Dr. Greenwald’s insight helps ensure the device performs reliably where it matters most; in a busy, high-pressure environment with limited resources.
Greg Pryde
