About LIOR™

Advancing Neurological Assessment for Everyone…

LIOR™ is more than a device. It’s a movement toward faster, more reliable, and accessible neuro exams.
Built for the field, trusted by clinicians, and driven by purpose.

Who Are We

We are frontline clinicians, engineers, and medical advisors who understand the urgent need for objective neurological tools. Our backgrounds in emergency medicine and critical care drive every decision we make.

Our Mission

LIOR™ exists to make objective neurological assessment accessible everywhere. Our mission is to standardize pupil evaluation across every level of care—on the street, in facilities, and in every clinician’s pocket around the world.

Why Choose LIOR™?

Engineered for Critical Moments
Fast, reliable, and designed to perform.

Disclaimer:
LIOR™ is currently in pre-prototype development. We are not claiming to match the capabilities of the Neuroptics NPi-300 or any existing commercial device. These research studies support the clinical value of Quantitative Pupillometry (QP) over manual assessment. LIOR™ uses a distinct logic system and user interface designed for simplicity, portability, and frontline use.

LIOR™ Designed with Simplicity in Mind.

lior heroangle 3840x2160 transparent

LIOR™ is approximately 170 mm long end to end. There are nine individual white LED lights that represent the measured pupil size captured at baseline by the IR camera and will stay illuminated next to its appropriately sized textured black disc.

Red, Yellow and Green Reactivity LEDs

Side View of LIOR™. The White LED pupil size array is shown clearly marked 1-9 mm and the Reactivity lights are clearly visible in Green, Yellow and Red, each representing reactivity according the PLR-3 alogrithim.

Activation Button and Toggle switch

This is an exploded view of the UI; simple and straight forward, one button to activated either the flashlight function or to put the device into search mode for its designed pupillometry function.

USB and Charging Lights

LIOR™ has a USB-C charge port along with two LEDs that indicate charging status, Red indicates charging is required and Green indicates a full charge. One charge with average use can last up to 8 days! (This is an estimate in when used in pupillometer mode.)

Inside LIOR™

This exploded view of LIOR™ shows the various internal components that are integral to making the device easy to use but also incredibly accurate. The MCU, the PCB the IR camera and the Light Burst Ring are all connected for real time neurological feedback on the Pupillary Light Reflex.

IR Camera and Light Burst Ring

lior exploded front 3840x2160 transparent

LIOR™ is equipped with an infrared camera that is surrounded by 10 LED lights. The lumens delivered to the patient is safe at 150 lm to prevent the aversion reflex, but strong enough to illicit the Pupillary Light Reflex in any type of ambient light. In Flashlight mode, the lumens increase to 300 lm.
